Coach Burks has helped Zaria develop her skills physically and mentally.  He has a positive and caring relationship for his players.  He encourages them to work hard, be competive and be achievers.  I appreciate the time and efforts that he takes with her individually and with her teammates.

Wow, where do I begin? This is our third year with Coach Burks and  what an amazing coach he is. My daughter played recreational ball with the  YMCA when she was 7 years old and then we were introduced to Select Basketball. That is when life changed! Kelsey's skills and fundamentals have improved tremendously and I have Coach Burks to thank for everything. He has patience and only wants what is best for the girls at heart and wants to make sure every girl plays to the best of their ability.  If you are truly looking for a "Competitive Select Team" for your  daughter, Texas Lady Heat is for you!
